Summary: Josefa Ruiz (Mama Pepa) died in 1964. Borland Genetics enables reconstruction of her partial DNA kit from the tests of her descendants. This presentation shows how this has progressed so you can see how you can do this.

Title: Reconstructing Mama Pepa's DNA (Presented at the 6th WAC Conference)
Summary: Each DNA-tested descendant of a person includes some of their DNA. Descendant tests can "cover" a significant part of the ancestor's DNA and matches. Josefa Ruiz (Mama Pepa) died in 1964, but we can know much of what her DNA test would have told us if she had done one. Watch Presentation
